NATIVE TEXAN and proud of it. Terry was born in Bellaire, Texas and is married with two grown children. My husband and I were looking for a place to raise our children that focused on faith and family and our search brought us to Magnolia, Montgomery County, TX. We fell in love with the area and the people of the county right away. My love for the earth comes for my parents and grandparents. During our childhood we spent many summers and vacations going camping and hunting and seeing Texas through the many state parks. We learned to appreciate the beauty of Texas and were inspired to share that love of the earth with our own families.
I have been working for the last 14 + years with Waste Management in the Public Sector Department. Working for the largest environmental company in the United States has been a real advantage. Waste Management has set the standards for fortune 500 companies on sustainability. Teaching and learning conservation is the key to our future.
I had been looking for a way to give back to the county that we call home. It has been a true gift to work with other dedicated board members on Keep Montgomery County Beautiful. Making a difference one plant at a time!
