Get Involved!

KMCB has many opportunities for volunteering to help with events such as our Volunteer Recognition Dinner, the annual Growing Green Plant Sale and Art Contest, manning our booth at events and festivals throughout the County, and serving on our Board of Directors.

KMCB's current strategic plan involves focusing on anti-litter and recycling initiatives in the greater Magnolia area. If you are interested in preventing litter, working with youth, promoting recycling, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, related marketing and media projects, assisting with litter and recycling competitions and art projects contact us and get involved.

We have many other projects, both large and small, that we would love to implement – we just need help to make them happen!

Would you like to volunteer at KMCB? Drop us a line at We’ll contact you to discuss how you would be interested in becoming involved with KMCB. We will also add you to our email list for volunteer opportunities.

This is a great way to learn about environmental issues in Montgomery County, to give back to the community, to meet others interested in our community environment and to earn service hours!

Nominate a Volunteer

KMCB believes the recognition of those in our community who are working to make a difference is important. Each February we hold a Volunteer Recognition Event and honor outstanding volunteers who are doing work in areas that align with KMCB's Mission. We accept nominations for outstanding volunteers beginning in November of the current year through the third week of January. Winners are notified the first week of February and are honored at the Volunteer Recognition Event in late February.

Please take the time to nominate someone you know is making a difference in the beautification of Montgomery County.
